Okay well down below are some photos of the cardigan that I am working on, 

I also want to start sharing other things I do in my life. So I thought I would share a short story I wrote yesterday. This blog is still a Textiles blog but I just want to open up and share more about myself. I am not just into textiles. I have lots of other interests as well and do lots of other things as you will start to learn and see as I incorporate more aspects about myself into my blog posts. 

A Halloween Story

(Saturday October 28^th, 2023)

Use These Three Words In Your story: Haunted House, A Ghost, A Funny Surprise

It was Halloween Night, October the 31^st and Charlotte and Maria, two twin sisters had decided to go to a haunted house.

Just be back before midnight said their mother when the girls told their mother their Halloween night plans.

They arrived at the haunted house and jitters began to set in. up to the door walked the two girls. They knocked on the door and it opened up on its own. It was like a ghost had opened the door. Into the house walked the two girls and with a gust of win the door slammed shut behind them. They jumped and shrieked in horror. Suddenly they saw a ghost and out of the haunted house ran the girls in terror.

Outside of the house were their parents. Happy birthday girls said the parents.

Oh how funny said maria to charlotte. I forgot that today is our birthday.

So out of terror came a funny and happy surprise. And off to the bowling alley went the girls with their parents to celebrate their birthday secretly followed by the ghost from the haunted house. 

Cardigan Update

I might have messed up on the cardigan. I have put it aside for now while I figure out if I want to give up or continue trying.

Sewing Patterns Friday October 20th, 2023

 Good Evening All. Today I went to Salvation Army and bought a bunch of Sewing Patterns that I am interested in creating. I will post the sewing patterns later for all of you to enjoy. 

I love (J'ai adore) the white (Blanc) dress in this pattern and plan on sewing the white (Blanc) dress for myself. I could see the white dress as a potential wedding dress. 

I love (J'ai adore) the pink dress in this pattern and plan on sewing the pink dress for myself to wear

I love (J'ai adore) the red (rouge) dress in this patten and plan on sewing the red (rouge) dress for myself to wear.

Well as you can tell I have posted all of the photos of the patterns I bought from the thrift store. Why these patterns you ask well here are my two reasons. 

1. I would love to start wearing more business type clothes.

2. In High School I made a dress that doesn't fit me anymore but I would love to be able to sew more dresses and I would love to go on a holiday and bring only dresses I made myself. I also want to wear dresses more often.

Pumpkin Hat #4 Friday October 20th, 2023

Pumpkin Hat October 09, 2023

 I started Knitting a new pumpkin Hat today. I have to knit three more pumpkin hats for my cousins three kids. Here is a photo. 

Well as you can tell I finally finished knitting a new Pumpkin Hat. I hope you all enjoy these photos. I love taking photos of my work in progress as well as the finished items. I also have to say I am really pleased I started this textiles blog as starting a blog has been something I wanted to do for a while. I tried creating other blogs but ended up deleting them. Anyways this textiles blog just feels right and if something just feels right you just have to go with it.

Pumpkin Hat For My Niece

Just busy knitting a pumpkin hat for my niece. I am making it a little bit different then her brothers hat so that the kids know whose hat is whose. I hope you enjoy these photos. More photos to come.
