Crochet Project

Good Morning All. I hope you enjoy the photos I am sharing of my latest Crochet Project. I am Crocheting another Scarf. This Scarf as you can tell is made up of the colors purple and blue. I will probably end up giving the scarf away once it is completed because I need to be a good person and being a good person means helping out others.

Crocheting A Scarf

Saturday June 01, 2024: I feel like I need to write a quick post. So on my Facebook page today. I got a message from an individual wanting to buy a scarf I crocheted. I told the individual the city I live in and that I only sell locally in my city. And then I get back a message from the individual with the individuals address which is in a different country. And the individual asks how much for shipping costs and sending the scarf over. I found that annoying when I made it clear that I am only selling locally in my city. I am not interested in selling over seas.

Sunday June 02nd, 2024: Good afternoon all. I am still busy Crocheting a beautiful Purple And Blue Scarf. The Scarf is getting pretty long and I feel like I am almost at the decreasing stage. Anyways I just wanted to give you all an update.

Monday June 03rd, 2024: Good News. I wanted to share that I finally finished a new Crocheted Scarf. Additional Pics to come soon. I will also be posting a video. Have a great Monday all. Well down below are all of the photos of the finished crocheted scarf, me modeling the crocheted scarf and a video of me putting on and modeling the crocheted scarves.

Monday May 20th, 2024 Victoria Day

Today Monday May 20th, 2024 is Victoria Day so first of all I want to wish you all a very Happy Victoria Day. I don't know if I have shared this with you but my first post secondary education at college was studying Recreation Therapy. So The Recreation Therapist inside of me wanted to share with all of you some ideas of how you can celebrate Victoria Day.

Tuesday May 07th, 2024

Good Afternoon All. not a Textiles post. I will probably do a bit of knitting and or crochet later and share my work with you. Anyways I just want to reflect on my day because daily reflection and journaling in my mind is very important and healthy to do. So this morning I showed up at the Boxing Gym. My Coaches pittbull dog was there at the gym. Seeing the dog brought back memories that I don't like. Forever until probably I hate to admit it about 2013 maybe even 2014 I had a majorly horrible fear of dogs and used to get this awful feeling when I saw dogs and be so afraid. The feeling started just disappearing after I was looking after my client Brian one day has Autism and a german shepherd was running up to us. I yelled at the dog to stop and the dog turned around and walked away. Sometimes even today in 2024 I will see a dog and still stay clear of it but I am just grateful not to have that feeling where you are just terrified and can't do anything about it. I was also bit by a dog at a young age and I was so scared after getting bit I never told anyone. Anyways enough about dogs. Boxing was okay. I am improving and still have more to improve upon.

Anyways I had my first Business Management Course today. It was interesting. I am a part of the minority as most of my classmates are international students. Should be an interesting course I am taking for the summer.

Colorful Knitted Shawl

Good Morning All. I am not sure if I have talked about this beautiful colorful Knitted Shawl before. But now I am going to talked about it. I Knitted this shawl for my Great Aunt for her birthday when she turned a hundred years old. She passed away at 104 and loved and cherished this shawl when she was alive. I don't know what happened to it. I also knitted the same shawl for a client named Betty who has now since passed away. I finally had the feeling I had to knit this same shawl for myself and to be honest this is actually the first item I knitted that I have wanted to keep and not give away.
