Good Morning All. I hope you are all having a great day. Today's post isn't a Textiles post but a Music Post. I've been thinking about musical instruments and I have been wondering if I made the right decision to buy a clarinet recently. And then I have also been thinking about ukuleles...soprano ukuleles.

Okay so a bit of history before I continue my blog post or rant or just getting things off my chest. I don't know what to call this but anyways here goes. As a child growing up I was always surrounded by musical instruments. My Dad has almost every musical instrument possible which now that I think of it is a bit crazy. A bit insane. Anyways I took piano lessons as a child which was mandatory. I also learned how to play recorder in elementary school. I had guitar lessons in elementary school as well which wasn't my cup of tea. I took a few flute lessons. I played clarinet in band in middle school and also saxophone and I also took some harmonica lessons. The instruments I own right now myself are recorders, harmonicas, a fife, a flute, a clarinet and a ukulele. I am wondering if all of these musical instruments are necessary. I know I don't want to be a person with a hundred musical instruments. I really only want one musical instrument that I can focus on and become good at. I am thinking ukulele because it doesn't take up much space and is easy maintenance. I know I did buy a clarinet recently and now I am wondering if I really should have bought the clarinet.

Here are reasons why the Ukulele Resonates With Me:
Small
Light Weight
Doesn't take up too much space
Easy to maintain

So I have more to blog about. I saw a friend and we went out for lunch. We went to Whitespot. We celebrated her getting her Learners License and I gave her a belated birthday card. Her birthday was on September the 3rd and she just turned 30. I am praying for my friend that she is able to get her N and get her full license.

I also picked up some items at the dollar store. I picked up some dishcloths and a drying towel. I the house I live in right now my roommates like leaving dishes to airdry and I don't like that. I want to wash my dishes and then dry them right away. If I leave drying towels out they are put in the laundry basket right away. So I bought some personal dishcloths and a personal drying towel to keep in my room and use when I do my dishes. I also picked up some small notebooks for work. After the dollar store I went to thrifty foods. I was looking at apples but didn't see what I wanted. My favorite apples are Gala Apples and Ambrosia Apples. I only saw one type of Apples at Thrifty's so I didn't buy anything.

I also went to Uptown Shopping Mall. I wandered around Walmart looking for apples but only saw Gala apples so I didn't get apples. I also returned a book to the library and I did my Aunty duties by going to Shoppers Drug Mart and mailing my niece her belated birthday card with some pictures I made, stickers and a Dairy Queen Gift Card with 10 dollars on it. I am hoping the Dairy Queen Gift Card can be a gift for my Niece and Nephew to enjoy. I would have given my niece her birthday card and gift back in August but my Sister In Law took her two kids to Quebec for the summer and only got back this home this past week. I also went to the grocery store and bought some apples. I found Gala Apples and Ambrosia Apples.

I was planning to go for a run today  but I was tired and fell asleep. I know that's not an excuse.

Okay well that's all to write for today.
